I have an accountant that has no idea what the “cloud” actually is…
he speaks of the “cloud” as though it’s some mythical deity from the
heavens that computes and stores his data.
He doesn't realize that the “cloud” is basically “someone else’s computer” where he’s just renting a portion for his needs.
But from a marketing perspective, it’s far more interesting to sell a
magical “cloud” than to tell people they’re basically buying space in a
