There’s a reason so many fishing terms are used in marketing.
There’s the negative “bait and switch” but the more ethical “bribe”
or “bait” we use to “lure” the customer (fish) into our offer where we
eventually present the “hook” and close the deal.
While the fish end up with a raw deal, hopefully your customer walks
away from the experience feeling like they were the captain of the ship
